The apparatus has a condensate collection tank that is connected with an intermediate superheater (13). A sub-cooler (11) provided in housing (10) is arranged below intermediate superheater. The steam turbine is pre-heated using the condensate supplied from the condensate collection tank. The condensate collection tank is arranged between the superheater and sub-cooler such that condensate is flowed through the superheater and sub-cooler. An independent claim is included for method for intermediate overheating of steam turbine. |
