ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY OF NOVEL STRUCTURE AND BATTERY CELL COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An electrode assembly is provided to increase the capacity of battery cell and the energy density by forming bi cell, which is coiled on the successive separating film, and at least one mono cell together. CONSTITUTION: An electrode assembly is composed of the structure in which one bi cell (100) on the successive separating film and one or more mono cells (110, 120, 130) are coiled. The bi cell is a unit cell having the same kind of electrodes which are positioned on both sides of the laminated structure in which more than one anode and cathode are interposed between the separating films. The mono cell is a unit cell having a different kind of electrodes which are positioned on both sides of the laminated structure in which more than one anode and cathode are interposed between the separating films. The mono cell has n times the length of the width (w) of the bi cell. The electrode opposed to the electrodes on both sides of the bi cell is arranged to be faced upwards in the position separated as the length corresponding to the width (w) of the bi cell.
