PURPOSE: An automatic game room generation method and a device thereof are provided to implement good game play by providing a chatting service to a game room. CONSTITUTION: When a user terminal connects to an automatic matching channel, an automatic game room generation device of an online game extracts the user information of a user who connects to the automatic matching channel (S10, S20). The device generates a game room including the set user according to a game play mode by using the extracted matching information of the users (S30). The device provides a chatting interface which is able to be used by the users (S40). The device transmits the matching information of the users to the user terminal (S50).
