Rail vehicle with an entry designed for persons with reduced mobility

The vehicle has a person entrance with a vertically movable platform (1) as a part of a vehicle floor (FB). The platform is moved between a level of the floor, and a lower platform level (UB). An inner door (11) is designed for passage of persons with reduced mobility, and provided before and behind the platform in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle for protecting the persons against a level difference between the platform and the floor when the platform is provided in the lower platform level. The platform is provided inaccessible for the persons on a side lying opposite to a door sill.
