PURPOSE: A kit containing an antibody which specifically binds to RPE-spondin or a fragment thereof for diagnosing colon cancer is provided to be used as an immunological diagnosis tool and to early diagnose colon cancer. CONSTITUTION: A biomarker for diagnosing colon cancer contains RPE-spondin as an active ingredient, containing an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1. A kit for diagnosing colon cancer contains an antibody which specifically binds to RPE-spondin or a fragment thereof. The antibody is a monoclonal antibody or a polyclonal antibody. A method for detecting RPE-spondin comprises: a step of contacting the antibody with a biological sample from an individual who is suspected to colon cancer; and a step of detecting RPE-spondin. |
