A User Equipment (1, figure 1), measures a transmission channel based on reference resources with respect to at least two transmission points, S11, such as in a Coordinated Multi-point, CoMP, scheme. A feedback report is established, based on the measurement, S12, the feedback report including a plurality of channel feedback information related to each transmission point. The feedback report is sent on a physical uplink control channel, PUCCH (which is more robust in terms of coverage), S13. Transmission point, eNB (2, figure 3), receives the feedback report on the PUCCH (S21, figure 4) and carriers out CoMP configuration, wherein scheduling of a multi-point transmission of the UE is performed, based on the feedback report (S22, figure 4). The wideband feedback report comprises Channel State Information, CSI, which may include Precoding Matrix indicator, PMI, Channel Quality Indicator, CQI, and/or Rank Information, RI, wherein channel feedback information is distributed over a first and a second report, which may be sent with different periodicities. Feedback can be self-contained in a single PUCCH report and comprises the necessary channel feedback information for performing scheduling. |
