A tool storage box 1 having a case body 10, a body cover or lid 11 capable of opening and closing the tool box, a handle 13 capable of being grasped by a user, a latch device 14 operable to clasp and lock the cover 11 to the tool box at a closed position, and an auxiliary case 20. The auxiliary case 20, the handle 13, and the latch device 14 are positioned on the front of the main case body 10. The auxiliary case may have its own cover 22 and may be located between the legs 13b of the handle 13, and may also be located between multiple possible latches 14. The auxiliary case 20 may be removably attached to the main case body 10 by means of a hook, and the auxiliary case cover 22 may pivot open in a manner opposite to the main case cover 11. |
