Use of fibre-reinforced polyurethane for forming a rail for a fitting assembly

The rail (10) has a C-shaped cross section formed with an open side (14), where the rail receives a rear-engaging element to connect to an element to be arranged i.e. facade element, and is made of fiber-reinforced polyurethane. The rear-engaging element is arranged on the rail. The element to be arranged is arranged onto the rear-engaging element such that the rail is produced by pultrusion process. An anchor (16) is provided on a reverse-side area (18) with which the rail is let into a wall. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting an element on a substrate or on a receiving structure.
