A unified fighting module BM-5 includes a turret with complicated geometrical shape, quick-fire gun with caliber 30 millimeters, connected to it machine-gun with caliber 7.62 millimeters and automated quick-fire grenade discharge with caliber 30 millimeters, system for installation of smoke screen, devices for stabilization and pointing of the block of equipment, mechanisms for lift of the equipment block and rotation of fighting module, re-charging and supply re-switching, mechanical devices of data transfer as rotary contact device and operator’s compartment, survey-sighting device, this includes narrow-field television camera, wide-field television camera of color image, thermal vision camera, laser range finder, protective glasses with devices for heating protective glass. Equipment block is arranged by modular principle, this makes it possible to build up the unified fighting module with arbitrary set of equipment: artillery-fire equipment, automated grenade discharge, anti-tank rocket complex with laser pointing system or any combination of those, fire control is performed by operator only, this can be placed in the fighting module (autonomous mode of operation) or separately in control cabin of floating mean (remote mode of operation). The survey device additionally includes an optical collimator, narrow-field television camera with color image. The system for data transfer is arranged as a mechanical device, to that a rotary contact unit or a flexible cable section can be connected without additional mounting operations. |
