A method for producing the diagnostic hyperimmune serum to metapneumovirus of the fowl provides for subcutaneous injection of the antigen to the rabbits. The mixture of the equal volumes of the antigen of the field isolate MPV-PV-3 and incomplete Freund adjuvant is injected to the rabbits on the days 1, 8, 15 and 29 at the sites of the femurs and scapulae in the volume of 1 mL. In addition, the immunomodulating substance 2-(5-(pyridyl-4-yl)-1,2,4-triasol-3-ylthio) acetate is injected intramuscularly. In 14 days following the last injection of the antigen, the blood is sampled from the heart of the rabbits. |
