The invention relates to a driver's cab 12 for a utility motor vehicle 10, comprising at least one window opening 14 covered by a windshield 16, by means of which a passenger compartment of the driver's cab 12 is bounded in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the front, and comprising at least one lighting element 22, by means of which light beams are capable of being emitted, wherein the lighting element 22 is covered by the windshield 16 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the front. The lighting element 22 may be covered by an interior lining element (38, figure 2) attached to the body shell (28, figure 2) of the vehicle 10. The lighting elements 22 may indicate the outer dimensions of vehicle 10, or may be used to indicate a change in driving direction. This arrangement prevents lights 22 from being damaged by stones or small objects during driving, and prevents water and humidity from entering the cab 12 via openings provided for the lights. |
