The invention relates to an arrangement of a fuel tank 10 on a framework of a motor vehicle, the framework comprising at least two longitudinal carrier elements spaced apart from each other in the transverse direction of the vehicle, in which arrangement the fuel tank 10 is arranged in at least one sub-portion in the transverse direction of the vehicle between the longitudinal carrier elements, wherein at least one of the longitudinal carrier elements in at least one further sub-portion in the vertical direction of the vehicle is covered by the fuel tank 10 towards the bottom. The tank 10 has an L-shape cross-section with two arms 12,14, a receptacle portion 16 for a carrier element and reinforcing fins (22 see fig 6). The invention secondarily relates to the fuel tank 10. |
