PURPOSE: A pedal unit having a triple hinge structure and a tilting device for a three wheel electric vehicle having the same are provided to release the tilting of a locking unit when a driver steps on a pedal. CONSTITUTION: A tilting device for a three wheel electric vehicle comprises a link unit, a pair of bar members, a pedal unit, and a locking unit. The link unit comprises four or more beams for supporting the bar members. The bar members tilt the link unit. The pedal unit comprises a support plate (131), a hinge member (132), a lever member (133), a pedal (134), and a link bar (136). The hinge member is fixed to the support plate. The lever member is installed on the hinge member to be rotated. The pedal is installed on a pedal hinge member (134c) through a hinge (134b) to be rotated. The link bar is connected to the pedal connection of the lever member. The locking unit senses the pedal force from the pedal unit and restricts or releases the movement of the link unit.
