PURPOSE: A method for displaying coupon contents in a mobile terminal and a coupon contents display system are provided to display the coupon contents together with map data when an application is executed, and to adjust the area indicated by the map data in detail by flicking the area using a distance gauge. CONSTITUTION: A database (205) stores coupon contents in correspondence to the store location discriminating the store related with the coupon contents. A processor (203) is linked to a coupon inquiry command and displays map data having the distance range set around the terminal location on the screen. The processor extracts the coupon contents corresponding to the store location belonging within the distance range by being reduced or expanded according to the adjustment for the distance gauge displayed together with the map data from the database.
