PURPOSE: An aluminum silicate-based phosphor is provided to be excited by the wavelength of 250-500 nm which ultraviolet ray and blue light emitting diode show, and to have the emission spectrum of 400-800 nm. CONSTITUTION: An aluminum silicate-based phosphor is represented by the following chemical formula (1): M1+x-yAl1+xSi2-xO6:Qy In the above chemical formula (1), M is one of alkali metal selected from Li, Na, K, Rb, and Cs, and Q is one or more activators or co-activators selected from europium (Eu), manganese (Mn), iron (Fe), chrome (Cr), calcium (Ca), zinc (Zn), cobalt (Co), nickel (Ni), copper (Cu), yttrium (Y), lanthanum (La), cerium (Ce), praseodymium (Pr), neodymium (Nd), samarium (Sm), gadolinium (Gd), terbium (Tb), dysprosium (Dy), erbium (Er), thulium (Tm), ytterbium (Yb), lutetium (Lu), gallium (Ga), germanium (Ge), and indium (In).
