PURPOSE: A search condition maintenance method in a web application using a session cookie and a system thereof are provided to considerably reduce the amount of coding by reusing search conditions which are stored in a search condition maintenance module after searching. CONSTITUTION: Search transaction is divided into an initialization mode, search mode and request mode, and search conditions are initialized in the initialization mode. A search is performed according to the search conditions, and the search conditions are stored in a session cookie. A search condition maintenance module obtains the search conditions stored in the session cookie in the request mode and performs a search again.
