PURPOSE: Multiple personal area network (PAN) ZigBee communication device and remote metering system using the same are provided to perform communication between nodes belong to different PAN regions and to perform communication with a node present in a shadow region due to long distance or other obstacles. CONSTITUTION: A first ZigBee communication unit (11) is configured to belong to a first PAN of a ZigBee network. A second ZigBee communication unit (12) is configured to belong to a second PAN of the ZigBee network. The control unit data received from the first ZigBee communication unit to the second ZigBee communication unit. The control unit data received from the second ZigBee communication unit to the first ZigBee communication unit. The control unit controls communication between the first ZigBee communication unit and the second ZigBee communication unit.
