<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorber manufacturing apparatus which prevents deposits from collapsing or getting disarranged when the deposits deposited in the concavities of a rotary drum is transferred to another transfer means and can efficiently manufacture a required absorber; and to provide an absorber manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the absorber includes: the depositing step of depositing a raw material 31 supplied by an airstream by sucking it into the concavities formed on the outside periphery of the rotary drum 2; and the transfer step of moving the deposits 32 in the concavities onto another transfer means 5, wherein the step of transferring the deposits 32 in the concavities while sucking it by a sheet gas-permeable member 7 supplied onto the concavities is performed between the deposition process and the transfer process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
