According to the invention the feedstocks are identified on the basis of at least one optical, in particular microscopic, analysis with respect to their phases and/or phase fractions and/or their phase morphology, structure, texture and/or their chemical composition, on the basis of these factors, reference functions are assigned for the feedstocks, which reference functions describe the reaction of the feedstocks in the process, and are used to establish the process parameters of the transformation process.
