PURPOSE: A color image restoration device and a method thereof are provided to restore color of an input image by using color information of an original image, thereby improving a color shifting problem which is generated in a color image processing method. CONSTITUTION: A vector compensation unit(130) performs compensation in order that a first vector based on a color value of a first pixel among a plurality of pixels, which comprises an input image, has the same as a direction of a second vector. A color value restoration unit(140) restores a color value of the first pixel based on the compensation.
