PURPOSE: An electrochemical capacitor is provided to minimize constant resistance through the expansion of a current path by contacting a lead terminal to both sides of an electrode and to improve output property and an equivalent series resistance property. CONSTITUTION: An electrochemical capacitor comprises an electrode assembly(100) and a lead terminal(110). The electrode assembly comprises a first electrode and a second electrode. The first electrode and the second electrode are alternately arranged leaving a separator in an interval. The separator comprises a first separator arranged on the lower side of the first electrode, and a second separator placed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The first electrode and the second electrode are insulated by the first separator and the second separator. The separator is composed of an insulating material having durability about an electrolyte or an active material. |
