PURPOSE: A portable electronic device and a control method thereof are provided to compare search query languages by a natural language process and a database in respect to a user context, thereby accurately performing the operation according to voice commands. CONSTITUTION: A microphone (122) receives voice commands. A control unit (180) acquires search query languages from the voice commands based on a natural language process and the request result based on a database in respect to the search query languages and a user context.
