PURPOSE: An initial public offering (IPO) system and method are provided to enable the investor to confirm any time the share allotment process through the Internet in real-time, thereby reducing previously the propriety of allotment of shares which can occur in the IPO. CONSTITUTION: A system operating means performs IPO through social network service (SNS). An information storage means stores and manages information about stocks for public subscription in a stock supply database through a sirangdae-orangdae icon application online or offline. A member obtaining means enables the member to buy the stocks for public subscription for member joining. A certification recognition means authorizes membership. A member identifying means confirms the member through a main database. An IPO decision means enables the confirmed member to register a decision on IPO. A management system confirms the member information and publishes the share. The management system is connected through the network of media to the main database to control and confirm the supply of the stocks for public subscription.
