PURPOSE: A putting distance displaying apparatus is provided to allow a player to reduce the number of putting motions by measuring the substantial putting distance of a golf ball considering slopes and informing the measured distance to the player. CONSTITUTION: A putting distance displaying apparatus includes a laser pointer(12), a height sensor(14), a slope sensor(16), and a displaying unit(18). The laser pointer is arranged at the front side of the apparatus and emits laser toward a hole-up. The height sensor measures the height of the apparatus which is a distance between the apparatus and a golf ball. The slope sensor measures the angle of the apparatus. The apparatus calculates the putting distance of the golf ball and displays the putting distance based on images or sounds. |
