Method of preparing vinyl chloride paste resin having good thermal stability

PURPOSE: A method for preparing a paste vinyl chloride-based resin is provided to improve thermal stability of a paste vinyl chloride-based resin itself and to suppress the coloring by the heat in wallpaper foaming processing. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a paste vinyl chloride-based resin comprises a step of adding a basic compound with pH 8 - 10 in post reaction polymerization of the paste vinyl chloride-based resin. The amount of the basic compound is 0.001~0.6 parts by weight based on the weight of a vinyl chloride monomer. The basic compound is light ash(Na2CO3).
