PURPOSE: A display device and a multi view providing method using the same are provided to generate a sub screen on a display screen according to the input of a multi view mode start command, and display other contents that a user wants to select, thereby simultaneously confirming plural contents which is to be selected. CONSTITUTION: A signal processing unit (120) processes contents. A display unit (130) displays the image of the contents. A user command input unit (150) receives a multi view mode start command. A control unit (170) operates other contents which can be selected on a displayed sub screen. After the selection of the other contents, the control unit is operated in a multi view mode for simultaneously displaying a plurality of contents views.
