A method for manufacturing a switchable optical sheet for a 3D image is provided to enable a sealant to be formed so as not to contact an alignment layer such as polyimide, thereby preventing the leakage of a liquid crystal substance by preventing the sealant from being cracked or damaged. A switchable optical sheet for a 3D image comprises a first substrate(100), a lens layer, a first alignment layer(106), a second substrate(110), a second alignment layer(114), and a sealant(140). The first substrate has a first electrode(102). The lens layer has grooves formed on the first electrode so as for the edge of the first electrode to be exposed. The first alignment layer is formed on the surface of the lens layer. The second substrate has a second electrode(112) opposite to the first electrode. The second alignment layer is formed on the second electrode so as for the edge of the second electrode to be exposed. The sealant is formed between the first and second electrodes so as not to contact the first and second alignment layers. |
