PURPOSE: Protein marker fibronectin for diagnosing breast cancer, a detection method thereof, and a kit for diagnosing breast cancer containing an antibody for the same are provided to enhance diagnostic sensitivity and accuracy and to simply and early diagnose breast cancer. CONSTITUTION: A method for selectively detecting fibronectin with a sequence of sequence number 1 from a blood sample comprises the step of detecting fibronectin through multiple reaction monitoring using a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer. A kit for diagnosing breast cancer contains information on a target peptide of fibronectin needed for detecting fibronectin from a blood sample by multiple reaction monitoring and on a pair of parent ions and daughter ions of the target peptide.
