PURPOSE: A method for extracting Vespa mandarina venom is provided to obtain a functional cosmetic product which is good for skin therapy and improves skin conditions by preparing a liquid from Vespa mandarina with skin moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and whitening effects. CONSTITUTION: A method for extracting Vespa mandarina venom comprises the steps of: injecting 15-150% ethanol solution into a storage container; putting 15-100 worker bees among the alive Vespa mandarina into 1 L of the ethanol solution and closing the container so as to allow the bees to fall into the ethanol solution and become less responsive; maturing the bees in the shade at room temperature for 6 months or longer; and isolating the matured liquid. A functional cosmetic composition contains a Vespa mandarina venom extract. |
