摘要 PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of translucent alumina composite is provided to improve intensity, light-transmissive and machinability by using alpha-Al2O3 and one or more materials selected from CaO(NO3)2, MgO(NO3)2, CeO2, and GeO2. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of translucent alumina composite comprises the following steps: mixing alpha-Al2O3 with one or more materials selected from CaO (NO3) 2, MgO (NO3) 2, CeO2 and geO2 as starting raw materials; incinerating the mixed raw materials; pulverizing the calcined raw materials; molding the pulverized raw materials by using cold isostatic press; and pressureless sintering the molded products at 1200-1800 deg. Celsius or pre-sintering at 1300-1400 deg. Celsius and warm isostatic heat treating at 1400-1800 deg. Celsius. 0.01-5 parts by weight of one or more materials selected from CaO (NO3) 2, MgO (NO3) 2, CeO2 and geO2 are mixed based on 100 parts by weight of alpha -Al2O3. The cold isostatic press is used for 1-60 minutes with a pressure of 80-200MPa.
