NARROW BEZEL TYPE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A narrow bezel type liquid crystal display device is provided to improve display quality by linearly overlapping an edge black matrix with the outermost pixel line of a display region. CONSTITUTION: An edge black matrix (183) is formed in the non-display region (NA) of the inner surface of a second substrate. The edge black matrix surrounds a displaying region (AA). The edge black matrix is overlapped with pixel regions. The pixel region is formed in an outermost part within the displaying region. The width of the region overlapped with the outermost pixel region of the edge black matrix is less than half a width of the pixel region.
