PURPOSE: An electrode material for a lithium secondary battery is provided to improve charging efficiency and to prevent the damage of an electrode structure due to overcharging. CONSTITUTION: An electrode material for a lithium secondary battery includes a silicon core forming an electrode by silicon in the center; a conductive core material forming a connection terminal by being formed on the outer circumference of the silicon core. A manufacturing method of the electrode material comprises a step of manufacturing a silicon core by molding the silicon in a rod shape; a yarn liquid coating step spreading carbon fiber yarn liquid onto the outer circumference of a silicone core molded through the silicon molding step; and a step of a forming a carbon fiber by carbonizing the yarn liquid in the silicon core.
