PURPOSE: A production method of a zinc oxide nanorod is provided to produce the zinc oxide nanorod showing high reflection capacity when the nanorod is being used as a light scattering material of a dye sensitized solar cell (DSSC) using a sonochemistry growth method. CONSTITUTION: A production method of a zinc oxide nanorod comprises the following steps: producing a precursor solution containing a zinc oxide precursor; inserting a substrate containing a nanoparticle into the precursor solution; and applying ultrasonic waves to the precursor solution while maintaining the temperature of the solution at 85-95°C, and growing zinc oxide on the substrate. The precursor solution is an aqueous solution which contains a zinc oxide precursor in a concentration of 0.01-0.05 M. The ultrasonic wave application process is conducted for 1-2 hours. A dye sensitized solar cell (100) includes a first electrode (110), a second electrode (120), more than one layer of photoactive layers (130), and electrolyte (140). The photoactive layers contain a photoelectrode layer (131) with semiconductor nanoparticles (131a), and an optical scattering layer (132) with the zinc oxide nanorod (132a). |
