PURPOSE: A display device and an electronic device are provided to prevent the potential variation of a pixel electrode by forming memory in pixel (MIP) type sub pixels. CONSTITUTION: A pixel (101) includes sub pixels (101a-101c). Each sub pixel functions as a display element based on voltage supplied by a first and a second electrode. The sub pixels display various colors. The sub pixels have various areas. Each sub pixel includes a memory pixel.
