FIELD: mining.SUBSTANCE: method to install a cone bit support includes installation on a journal with radial mill channels with a circular bore and its fixation against axial displacement with lock units, every of which comprises a pin with a spring element installed in the radial channel of the journal. Prior to installation of the mill onto the journal, the pin with the spring is sunk in the radial channel of the journal, then the mill is put onto the journal, and after matching of pins with the circular bore of the mill the spring is released. At the same time the pins are equipped with a stiffly connected guide rod, stretching via a spring cavity, and the mill journal is made with an axial channel connected with radial channels of the journal, which are made as step-shaped, besides, the axial channel is used to control springs of lock units by means of action at pin rods with a pressing tool.EFFECT: increased efficiency of bit operation.2 dwg |
