FIELD: engines and pumps.SUBSTANCE: method to implement cyclic detonation burning in an intermittent air jet engine consists in blowing of the combustion chamber from tubular aerodynamic valves, fuel supply and its further ignition from residual combustion products, which consists in ignition of a fuel and air mixture from combustion products that return inside the combustion chamber from a resonator pipe at the suction cycle. Ignition from residual combustion products resulting in detonation burning is realised by means of their leakage from peripheral pipes of aerodynamic valves.EFFECT: achievement of higher amplitude of pressure pulsations and higher thermodynamic efficiency and cost-effectiveness of an intermittent air jet engine.6 dwg
