The device has an interface to communicate with a set of advanced nodes. The interface is arranged to receive a request to change coverage or a capacity of one of the advanced nodes. Processors are arranged to determine if it is necessary to grant or refuse the request based on coordination policy and a coordination state i.e. state of functions, where the device coordinates changes of coverage and of capacity of the nodes at network level based on the coordination policy and a coordination state by considering coverage and capacity requirements of the coordination policy. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an advanced node (2) a method for coordination of changes of coverage and capacity in a self-optimization network.
