The glasses have side branches secured to a connection case (6). Each branch has an inner longitudinal housing (7) in which an end (3a) of the branch is engaged. A support piece (9) is housed in a central housing and moved relative to the case by a control cam (12). The cam acts against a ramp (13) of the case to pivot the case around a contact rotation point (14) during opening/closing of the branch. A posterior end (15) of the piece acts in compression against elastic element during movement of the branch in opening/closing position to ensure return of the piece to stable positions of cam.
