The module (10) has a cylindrical lens (18) for collimating light in a direction perpendicular to a meridional sagittal plane. A reflector (14) is formed without curvature in a sagittal plane and curved in a meridional plane such that a caustic curve is defined. A basic light source (12) is arranged such that the caustic curve is extended on an edge of a LED and a lighting emitting surface of the LED is extended toward a light discharging portion (17) from the caustic line, so that the light emitted by the module comprises a basic light distribution with light-dark borders. The reflector is designed as a segment or a sector of a cylindrical hollow body. The cylinder lens is designed as a cylindrical condenser lens.
