<p>A method for adjusting a detector comprises: determining a detection value range of detection values; selecting an input range of input values; selecting an input value in the input range from a minimum to a maximum in the input range; determining an offset range for a first offset and a second offset; determining the value of the first offset for a new balance of the detector, comprising comparing the value of the first offset with a first detection value, decreasing the value of the first offset when it is higher than the first detection value; determining the value of the second offset for a new balance of the detector, comprising comparing the value of the second offset with a second detection value, decreasing the value of the second offset when it is lower than the second detection value.</p> |
