<p>The present invention provides a method for obtaining respiratory waveform information for a subject and a system for carrying out said method, and includes: a step in which the air pressure difference is measured chronologically between external air pressure and the internal air pressure of an accommodation chamber (10) for accommodating, over an extended period of time, a subject of which the physiological functions are to be measured; and a step in which respiratory waveform information for the subject is generated on the basis of the measured air pressure difference. The accommodation chamber (10) is provided with a suction unit (21) that continuously draws a predetermined amount of air from the exterior of the accommodation chamber (10) into said chamber, and an exhaust unit (22) that continuously expels a predetermined amount of air from inside the accommodation chamber (10) to the exterior. After the subject has been accommodated, the exterior of the accommodation chamber (10) is blocked with the exception of the suction unit (21) and the exhaust unit (22). A resistor for regulating the ventilation amount of the accommodation chamber (10) is provided to the ventilation path of the suction unit (21) and/or to the ventilation path of the exhaust unit (22). As a result, the information necessary for generating the respiratory waveform of the subject can be non-invasively obtained over an extended period of time and measured/recorded according to necessity.</p> |
