PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-holding type breaker for being used as a protective device for a secondary battery and the like, which makes a self-holding function operate normally, while achieving miniaturization.SOLUTION: A plating layer 24d and the like, which are made from nickel lower in thermal conductivity than metal constituting a fixing piece 2, a movable piece 4 and a cover piece 8, are formed in the fixing piece 2, the movable piece 4 and the cover piece 8, which are made of a metal plate. Thus, heat conduction from a PTC (positive temperature coefficient) thermistor 6 to the fixing piece 2 and heat conduction from a thermally-actuated element 5 to the movable piece 4 and the cover piece 8 are suppressed, and a self-holding function of a breaker 1 can normally operate without relying on thermal storage capability of the PTC thermistor 6. |
