PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of a situation in which a part of an image fails to be recorded even when the image to be recorded fails to fit in an area defined by upper, lower, right and left margins managed by an application.SOLUTION: When image information containing information indicating margins in a cut paper is input to a printer driver execution section 21 of a host computer 10 from an application execution section 20, the printer driver execution section 21 determines whether or not a size of an image to be recorded is larger than that of an application specified area defined by the margins. When the size is determined to be larger than that thereof, the printer driver execution section 21 virtually expands positions of sides of the cut paper, generates a control command for recording an image indicated by image data on an area after expansion that is an area defined by sides individually spaced apart from the sides virtually expanded by each margin and outputs the control command to a printer 11. |
