摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of preventing cracks on a phosphor layer even if radiating exciting light from a solid light source to the phosphor layer, in the light source device having the solid light source for emitting light having a designated wavelength among wavelength ranges from ultraviolet light to visible light as exciting light, the phosphor layer having a first face and a second face opposite to the first face and including at least a kind of phosphors for emitting fluorescence having a wavelength longer than that of the exciting light by being excited by receiving the exciting light to the first face, and a board arranged at a second face side of the phosphor layer.SOLUTION: A transparent layer 11 is arranged on a first face S1 of the phosphor layer 2 in order to effectively restrain a temperature rise on an excited light radiation section of the phosphor layer 2. Here, the transparent layer 11 is formed of a transparent material to the exciting light from the solid light source 5 and the fluorescence from the phosphor layer 2.
