PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve overlooking of information on a map on which pieces of specific information are crowded in an area with low area ratio.SOLUTION: A display controller of a map with a variable scale has respective databases which store map information on a standard map for every classification unit obtained by classifying the whole of a map display image into a plurality of parts according to a predetermined classification, associate each of a plurality of display conditions with relevant classifications to be stored, set a condition value when the classification unit becomes a display object for every classification unit to be stored for one display condition. The display controller acquires respective pieces of map information respectively by regarding all the classification units to be included in the classification as display objects on the basis of the display conditions, creates a map display image of the standard map to be transmitted to a client device, calculates the ratios between a condition value of the display object at the starting point and respective condition values of display objects other than that respectively on the basis of specification of the display object at the starting point, changes the scale of the map information respectively on the basis of the ratios, and creates a map display image with the changed scale to be transmitted to the client device. |
