PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC motor or DC generator causing neither ripple torque nor ripple voltage by removing a commutator, a brush and a position detection element.SOLUTION: An armature coil is fixedly disposed on an outer housing so as to oppose to a magnetic surface of a rotor whose outer peripheral surface or both side surface are used as north and south magnetic poles. A DC motor is configured by driving the rotor by passing a direct current through the armature coil. Alternatively, the DC motor is configured by allowing an inductive output to be generated on the armature coil by driving the rotor. |
