The invention relates to a reactor pressure relief filter system (10), comprising an interior space (14) hermetically enclosed by a pressure-resistant reactor jacket (12), at least one pressure relief opening (16) through the reactor jacket (12), a dry filter (18) for a mass gas flow (20, 46, 48) which escapes from the pressure relief opening (16) in case of excess pressure in the interior (14), wherein the filter efficiency depends on both the mean dwell time of the mass gas flow (20, 46, 48) in the dry filter (18) and the temperature interval of the mass gas flow (20, 46, 48) at the respective dew point, and a flow channel (22, 44) for connecting the pressure relief opening (16) and the dry filter (18). In the flow channel (22, 44), a passive orifice (24, 42) is provided upstream of the dry filter (18) for fluidic reasons. The invention also relates to a corresponding method for dimensioning the orifice (24, 42) and the dry filter (18). |
