PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical deflector that improves a spatial resolution in comparison with a conventional laser radar device.SOLUTION: An optical deflector 15 allowing a laser beam generated by a light source 11 to be deflected by an optical deflection device is configured to include: first optical deflection means 32 that repeats changing of the laser beam at a predetermined deflection angular velocity at a scanning angle from a first deflection angle to a second deflection angle for each first scanning period; and second optical deflection means 33 that deflects a laser beam deflected by the first deflection means in the same plane surface as a scanning surface of the first optical deflection means at the same angular velocity as the deflection angular velocity from a third polarization angle larger than the scanning angle to a fourth scanning total angle in a reverse direction with respect to the first deflection means.
