摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a positive electrode active material capable of achieving excellent discharge operating voltage and initial rate characteristics while maintaining high discharge capacity; and a positive electrode for an electric device including the positive electrode active material; and an electric device.SOLUTION: A positive electrode active material contains: a solid solution lithium-containing transition metal oxide A which is represented by Li[NiCoMn[Li]]O(a+b+c+d=1.5, 0.25<d&le;0.4, 1.1&le;a+b+c<1.25 and 0.1&le;a<0.5 are satisfied), has a lamellar structure site changing to a spinel structure through charge/discharge in a potential range of 4.3 V or more and 4.8 V or less, and has a change rate into the spinel structure of 0.25 or more and less than 1.0; and a lithium-containing transition metal oxide B which is represented by Li[NiCoMn[Li]]O(e+f+g+h=1.5, 0.15&le;h&le;0, 1.25&le;e+f+g&le;1.35 and 0.25&le;e&le;0.7 are satisfied), has a lamellar structure site changing to a spinel structure through charge or charge/discharge in a potential range of 4.3 V or more and 4.8 V or less, and has a change rate into the spinel structure of 0.25 or more and less than 1.0.
