PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flux-cored wire for gas-shielded arc welding which permits a desirable bead to be formed in vertical upward welding, while retaining a desirable welding workability even in a high electric current.SOLUTION: A flux-cored wire for gas-shielded arc welding includes given quantities of: titanium oxide raw material; C; the total of the quantity of metal Si in terms of Si and the quantity of Si oxide in terms of Si; the quantity of metal Si in terms of Si; Mn; the total quantity of metal Al in Al and Mg; the total of the quantity of Na in an Na compound in terms of Na, and the quantity of K in a K compound in terms of K; and the quantity in an F compound in terms of F; in which the filling ratio of flux is defined, the titanium oxide raw material has a composition containing given quantities of TiO, Si, Al, Mn, Fe, Mg, and Ca, an oxide composed of at least any one of Ti, Fe, Mn, Al, and Si is formed on the surfaces of the particles, and the atomic percentages of Al and Si in the oxides meet the formula: 1≤Al+Si≤10. |
